Apple, cheddar & prosciutto waffle

Need: all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, buttermilk, butter, egg, apple, cheddar, prosciutto

1 cup 1 tbsp 1 tsp 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp 1 cup 3 tbsp 1 1 1/3 cup 4-5

Ingredients

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.  In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, melted butter and eggs, then stir into the flour mixture. Fold in apple and cheddar. Top each waffle with prosciutto.

Need: buttermilk, wheat flour, all-purpose flour, cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, egg, oil, chili, eggs

Ingredients

Mix flours, cornmeal, baking soda, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add egg, buttermilk, and oil and whisk until combined.  Cook until waffles are golden brown.

Warm up chili on the stove and place a frying pan over medium heat. Crack eggs into the pan and fry until the egg whites are cooked through.  Stack waffles and top with chili and a fried egg.

Orange cinnamon waffles with hot fudge

Need: whole milk, butter, honey, salt, vanilla, eggs, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, orange juice, instant yeast

Ingredients

Whisk together the sugar and cocoa powder and set aside. In a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolate and butter. 

Meanwhile, heat the cream and milk in a saucepan. As soon as steam begins to rise from the milk, whisk in the sugar and cocoa powder until dissolved.

Once the chocolate and butter have melted in the double boiler, stir until smooth and then stir in the cocoa and milk mixture. Whisk for 2-3 minutes.

Cider pumpkin waffles with toasted pecan butter

Need: milk, apple cider, yeast, pumpkin puree, butter, vanilla extract, eggs, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, pecans, brown sugar

Pecan butter ingredients

Butter Honey crisp apples, cored and chopped Brown sugar Cinnamon Nutmeg Vanilla extract

2 tbsp 1 1/2 cups 1/4 cup 1 tsp 1/4 tsp 1 tsp

Spiced apple ingredients

In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until it turns an amber color. Pour into a bowl to cool. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

In a large bowl, whisk together the brown butter, eggs, almond milk, lemon juice, vanilla, and pumpkin. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.  Serve with maple syrup.
